Annual Day Celebration – Pratibha

The Annual Day is the most awaited event of the academic year at Cyrus Poonawalla School. This grand celebration showcases the talents, achievements, and progress of students across academics, sports, arts, and extracurricular activities.

Students present colourful cultural performances including dance, music, drama, and skits that reflect Indian heritage as well as contemporary themes. The event also features prize distribution for academic excellence, sports achievements, and special recognitions in robotics, abacus, and creative arts.

Parents, dignitaries from PNP Education Society, and representatives from the Viloo Poonawalla Foundation grace the occasion, making it a memorable community gathering that reinforces the school’s commitment to holistic development.

Annual Sports Meet – Fit India

Promoting physical fitness and team spirit, the Annual Sports Meet brings out the competitive energy of students. The spacious sports ground comes alive with track and field events, football, kho-kho, kabaddi, throwball, and athletic races for all age groups.

Events are thoughtfully categorized into Nursery to Class II (fun games), Class III–V (junior category), and Class VI–X (senior category). Students participate with enthusiasm, displaying discipline, sportsmanship, and perseverance.

The day concludes with a march past, torch lighting ceremony, and prize distribution, inspiring every child to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.

National Festivals – Independence Day & Republic Day

These patriotic celebrations instill a deep sense of national pride. The school grounds host flag hoisting by distinguished guests, followed by the national anthem and march past.

Students present speeches, patriotic songs, group dances, and short plays highlighting India’s freedom struggle and constitutional values. Special assemblies focus on themes of unity, diversity, and responsibility towards the nation.

Children’s Day & Teachers’ Day Celebrations

Children’s Day is filled with fun activities, games, magic shows, and special assemblies organized by teachers to make students feel loved and valued.

Teachers’ Day provides an opportunity for students to express gratitude through heartfelt performances, cards, and cultural programs honouring the dedication of the faculty led by Principal Ms. Geetika Bhuchar and the entire teaching team.

  • Diwali – Rangoli competitions, diya decoration, and awareness about eco-friendly celebrations

  • Holi & Makar Sankranti – Traditional games and kite-making activities
